Katie Price devastated by shock death in the family: 'I'm absolutely heartbroken'

The 39-year-old told her followers that her dog Queenie has suddenly died.

[post_ads]Katie Price posted on her Instagram: "I'm absolutely Devastated heartbroken, my faithful loving family dogs life Queenie has been shortened as she was killed by a heartless delivery driver who ran into our dog, seeing her struggle and drove off without telling us and left her to die. (sic)

"[I'm] very disappointed a human being can be this heartless! Security cameras show this and we have reported to police! DEVASTATED is an understatement."

She posted several pictures of the dog, who has been part of the family for years, sharing her grief with her followers.

Katie added in another picture: "Sooo gutted I've lost Queenie."

Kieran Hayler also took to social media to share his upset, posting: "No words for what has happened but carrying her lifeless body last night will stay with me for the rest of my life!!! RIP queenie."

This sad news follows a tough few months for Katie, who burst into tears on Loose Women last year while talking about her mother Amy, who was diagnosed with a terminal lung illness Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis last year.

She told her co-presenters that she was going to therapy to cope: "For ages lots of things were building up and my mum's thing was the top of it and me being me I just don’t want to be a burden on anyone.

"But I watched myself back and I thought, ‘Oh my god, I think I better go and see a doctor to talk about this."

The news followed the news that Kieran had cheated on her with their nanny Nikki Brown, which was denied by Nikki.

Katie suffered a miscarriage just four days after discovering the affair.
