First look: Inside Viking Cruises' new Viking Orion

Viking Cruises unveiled its fifth ocean ship, Viking Orion, in June 2018. Measuring 47,800 gross tons, Orion is a upscale vessel with room for 930 passengers at double occupancy.  Gene Sloan, USA TODAY

Viking Orion is the latest in a series of vessels that Viking Cruises began rolling out in 2015 with the debut of Viking Star. Other ships in the series include Viking Sea, Viking Sky (shown here) and Viking Sun.   Viking Ocean Cruises
