Clairo's third studio album, Charm, is out now

Clairo, born Claire Elizabeth Cottrill on August 18, 1998, is an American singer-songwriter known for her introspective lyrics and genre-blending sound that spans indie pop, soft rock, and lo-fi. She gained widespread attention in 2017 with her viral single "Pretty Girl," leading to her debut EP Diary 001 in 2018. Her subsequent albums, Immunity (2019) and Sling (2021), further established her as a significant voice in indie music.

In July 2024, Clairo released her third studio album, Charm, co-produced with Leon Michels. The album received critical acclaim for its lush, vintage-inspired production and was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album at the 2025 Grammy Awards. Tracks like "Juna," "Sexy to Someone," and "Terrapin" showcase her evolution as an artist, blending '70s soul influences with contemporary themes.

Beyond her music, Clairo is recognized for her activism. At Coachella 2025, Senator Bernie Sanders introduced her set, praising her advocacy for women's rights and her stance on global issues such as the conflict in Gaza.

Clairo is currently on her Charm tour, with upcoming performances at major festivals including Primavera Sound in Barcelona, The Governors Ball in New York, and BST Hyde Park in London.
